Chase Models are a type of mechanic in The Mimic. They are used across the game on the occasion that a monster spots a player. Upon spotting a player in their line of sight, a monster's AI will immediately begin to chase said player. However, this can also happen if a player makes too much noise by walking (and on some rare cases, crouching), causing a monster to begin an immediate route to the aforementioned player.
