A new anime project based on Natsume Akatsuki's Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (KonoSuba) light novels was announced on Tuesday in a web radio broadcast on HiBiKi Radio Station. Seiyuu Jun Fukushima (Kazuma Satou) and Rie Takahashi (Megumin), who hosted the 28th and final episode of Kono Subarashii Radio ni Shukufuku wo!, read a message from Kadokawa producer Rie Ogura announcing the new anime project at the end of the episode. Ogura's message does not specify the format and content of the new anime. KonoSuba was first adapted into a television anime series in Winter 2016. A second season ended its broadcast this past March. An OVA episode was included in the 9th volume of the light novels, and a second OVA was included in the 12th volume, which went on sale on Monday.
