Nintendo’s eShop is due to shut down on the Wii U and 3DS consoles in March 2023. This will strand some of the 3DS Pokémon from older titles dating back to Ruby and Sapphire. Nintendo is making Pokémon Bank free, and it will allow you to collect your old catches.
