Spicy Newt (Chinese: 火蜥蜴) was a robot built by the Caustic Creations team, which competed in the first and only series of Clash Bots. Spicy Newt was a four-wheel drive, invertible robot armed with a powerful drum spinner which could reach speeds of 15000rpm. The drum weighed approximately 32kg and was capable of causing serious damage to opponents. Spicy Newt also featured small feeder wedges either side of the drum, and was notably compact in its design. Caustic Creations had previously compete
