Well, that didn't take long. Daedelic Entertainment, the developers behind The Lord of the Rings: Gollum , have issued an apology regarding the game's heavily roasted gameplay experience. After reading critics' reviews and the Twitter reactions, it's not terribly surprising. Gamers have been waiting since 2019 for the game, and the time doesn't seem to have added to its caliber. In fact, the Playstation 5 version is currently the worst-rated game of the year.
